This year has been insane. I was ran over by a figurative bus, mopped on the floor, zapped by electric depression AND stung by the lord of slothiness for almost a whole month which resulted in me borrowing a casket of gold from my brother (more like 400 bucks...) I never thought i was going to get threw life this year. Yet, I'm not the type to just be slammed and shutdown, so I continually bandaged myself, moved my arse off the couch and looked for work, and when my arse was still glued to the couch, i made sure I was doing something creative like drawing or writing (while i watched all sorts of British TV...and the entire series of FRIENDS argh). I also did some serious soul searching, reading books that helped me realize that i was looking at the world with too much hate, and instead taught me to think positively and wrap my arms around the universe in quite the large group hug. Feels great, you should try it. Since then, i geared my attention to bettering myself, and unfortunately I had to sacrifice a few people from my life that were limiting my creative juices.  After steadfast resolution and pretty much hitting head breaking rock bottom, I was found a curious little ad for a Graphic Design Position at a family printing shop, so i jumped on my horse and galloped ALL the way to the shop and met the owner in person, in one day I got the job. Now, whether it was my sauviness or my talent, or (you know it) my sex appeal that oh so handed me this creative job is not something i care about. I had a job in my field, that was all that mattered. FINALLY something that will press me forward in my dusted career. So since October I have been polishing my dusty self into a now mediocre (going on awesome) graphic designer AND wide format printer. I even went as far as cut and package printed products, who would have thought...For a little while it was a daze to be at this job, having never had something like this before. A job that gave me...wait for it...money! Enough money to buy the stuff I need! Like a mattress, a netbook to write my novel while i travel on the bus to work, tickets to travel and visit friends, new clothes, better food. MOST OF ALL this job has given me back my sanity, sense of security and relief. RELIEF! I can now sit down at home after work and relax, i don't have to worry about paying bills. Many will agree that it is such a great sensation that hopefully (and I'm quite positive) it will last for a long while. My struggle I believe is over. By struggle I mean finally finding a place in my career where i know things will only go up from here. I know life will still bring on many challenges, but I feel readier than ever.

So 2012 is definitely a marked year in my calender.

My plans for 2013 are simple:

-Keep excelling at work
-keep writing my novel
-keep drawing
-keep loving life
