Description
Here is my latest Harry Potter watercolor painting from the chapter "Diagon Alley" from Philosopher's Stone. It's been long in the making. Life came and took my time, as it usually does at its own leisure. This is a second draft of this painting that I am actually pleased with. Tough Chapter to draw. Didn't want to pick a cliche scene. Especially the scene where Harry gets his wand.
Medium: Pen and Watercolor.

Your gorgeous work leaves me with such a lovely feeling. I've long admired your other Potter plates, especially because first-book art is actually hard to come by.
I really love the colors that you've put throughout these; it reminds me of well-done chapter illustrations in books from the early 1900s.
Anyway, the careening cart is amazing, as are the tracks to no-where. Griphook and Harry are just as I'd picture them.
Lovely, lovely job.
